I admire your teaching. I believe you are a true man of God. I always refer to your commentaries while studying the Word. Was a bit disappointed of the commentary on 1cor14, on speaking in tongues, I guess it does not meet the truthfulness taught in this video. Affection in Christ.

David,, you preach alot on how divorce is Unexcusable in Gods eyes and in his word... Then what you are also saying that if the mother(stepmother) is abusing both me and my child that its ok because we will grow from it... Can you explain to my 12 yr old that being abused is ok... My wife has NPD and we've tried counseling and gone through your studies... She will not allow me to lead because those with NPD need and have to have the power and control over everything... I get temporary custodial rights with my son, yet he no longer wants to be around here (her) during my parenting time... The continued abuse has authorities from Department of Social Services questioning the safety and concerns of my son... So please tell me how God would damm me for getting a divorce... my childs safety is more important now than being with a woman that will not follow Gods word nor the laws of our governed authorities... Her Disorder is vile and others around dont want to be around her (and that includes my other 3 adult children that she will not allow me to be with)... I live on the house top, i live in the wilderness and im forced to not have Joy... I wont go to hell for divorcing her, and i have zero interest in women period because they all have been the same... Id rather die being without a woman than continue to be abused and watch my child suffer through it... Please bring your best, because a Continuous wife Is minimizing the description of who I am married to... p.s. Ive been physically assaulted twice by her as Im handicapped and disabled as well...

Dear Skeeter, I and the Enduring Word team would never condone abuse. It is never OK, and it should be criminally prosecuted. If that is happening, the right thing to do is to report it to law enforcement agencies and find safety for the victims. Furthermore, if a Christian gets a divorce for non biblical reason, they are not damned, and I would never say that. As I said, abuse is never OK, and we always counsel people to exit those situations as soon as they can. God does not demand the enduring of physical abuse. We are sorry to hear about this, and we hope that our online Enduring Word family and team will be praying for you.
