I swear, Broadway stars don’t get paid as well as they should and deserve with the talent that they have.
Dylan McMinn ya their salary from what I seen is around 2000$ a week
@SarahBaird-io2tn3 жыл бұрын
@Dylan McMinn a week not a show. 2,000 divided by 8 is $250. They make approximately 250 dollars every show

Arielle is the best actress that I’ve ever see!! she give passion on her actions.. her voice is so angelical and her technic is really incredible!! I love the way she inspire people to follow our dreams! thank you for so much Arielle!!!

She might have only done the Sydney season in Australia, but I was lucky enough to see Arielle on Broadway exactly two months ago now actually. She's definitely the best Jasmine in the stage version of Aladdin imo. I mean Courtney Reed is the OG Broadway Jasmine and Hiba Elchike did a great job in Melbourne when I saw it here, but Arielle, I dunno she just has something that really makes her stand out above the rest. Her rendition of These Palace Walls when I saw her on Broadway was just AMAZING!! I got to meet her at stage door afterwards. She signed my playbill and even took a selfie of the two of us together. Arielle is just so nice. Hope I get to see her again sometime, whether it's in Aladdin or any other show

My first Disney Broadway show was Aladdin in Denver, CO. So worth it. I was sitting on the edge of my seat the entire time and I loved it.
@manuelorozco77604 жыл бұрын
Arielle looks stunning! I have seen her in the US tours of High School Musical as Gabriella and In The Heights as Nina. When i saw the tour of Aladdin in March, Lissa deGuzzman was Jasmine instead. And that costume is gorgeous even if the sparkles can be distracting at times.

Please tell me they used a different guy as Aladdin. Her brother played Aladin when it first premiered for a while. It would've been kind of awkward if she played Jasmine and kept her brother. Obviously she just explained that so thank god.

@brittmcv214 жыл бұрын
the kingdom of Agrabah, being fictional takes a lot of inspiration from many cultures, such as arabic cultures, as well as many middle eastern and asian cultures, like morocco and india (stated in this video) the actual castle seem to be inspired very heavily from the taj mahal

General rule of stage production: ethnicity doesn’t matter when it comes to casting, unless it’s very very important to the plot (Hairspray, Miss Saigon, West Side Story). In the case of Aladdin, it would be nice to have an Arabic actors playing the roles, but it’s not required. Especially since Aladdin itself is a product of Orientalism, so it gathers factors of so many different cultures into one kingdom.
@kay_girl_974 жыл бұрын
Both Aladdin movies made Agrabah a mix of Middle Eastern and Indian culture (hence Rajah the Tiger, tigers are found in India). So Jasmine could be any ethnicity.

DSM Productions (official) all actors have to put on a wig anyway
@dsmproductionsofficial1313 жыл бұрын
@@anhphi100 doesn’t mean that a obvious wig should ruin things for the rest of us, if just is like saying why hire a actress with curls like every other fan has to when playing jasmine

Arielle is 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 in her 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘳𝘥 Broadway show - Aladdin, Wicked, In The Heights (where she starred in the final Broadway cast across from Lin-Manuel Miranda who later wrote 𝘏𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘵𝘰𝘯) - which is the 𝘖𝘭𝘺𝘮𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘴 of acting, has starred in 𝘵𝘸𝘰 major Broadway national tours (In The Heights where she was personally cast by Lin-Manuel Miranda & High School Musical where she was cast by Disney for the first time), opened Aladdin in Australia for Disney as Jasmine, has starred in 2 world premiere 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘴 by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Nilo Cruz who personally asked her to star in those shows, and has literally performed for hundreds of thousands of people around the world. Which is why everyone else commenting says nothing except how amazing she is. But yeeeaaah, you’re right.....Arielle Jacobs probably can’t act lol Please. Go back under your bridge and try and pop out and scare kids or whatever else Trolls do for fun.
