Arlecchino makes me think of those stories where a parent passes away and though they didn't really talk or say much at home, when the child goes to collect their belongings from work, they find a bunch of pictures of them together and hear from their parents coworkers how they would talk about them all the time.

He has a unique and very interesting background/story for sure and i do really like it but he as a character unfortunately just comes across as a child who doesn't get his way rather than a character who has a compelling personality. Even parts of his backstory weren't that interesting. 😔 Personally for me, arle so far has had no weak points in her story telling thus far with the small amount we've seen.

Arlecchino seems the best done to me as well. From presumptions and original snezhnaya trailer you think shes evil, the way other characters talk about her is just a villain in its own. However her own children call each other and and members of the orphanage a home. Despite going through alot, she STILL doesnt force any of the children at the orphanage to join her. She just doesnt want to be seen as weak, and I find the way shes holding on super admirable.

Often when characters are shown to close someone's eyes after they die, they 1) usually know its going to happen 2) Care about the person who died, and/or 3) respect the deceased very much We can see that despite how awful she may seem, she has her own reasons I think there is a lot more to her character than "Mommying so hard she became Father" and "please step on me" and how she's killed a bunch of people (y'know, Fatui) Im excited to see where her story goes from here

"fatherless behavior" comments incoming to people who don't have arlecchino 4. arlecchino really likes offing people with her feet 5. hoyo needs to do more backstory animations and this teaser is one of the best so far

It is just more highlighted I think, in reality liyue(China) has more orphan issue than Fontaine(French) oh don’t forget adeptius also adopt lots of female orphans which might kinda referring to those abandoned female babies in China
