The Ideal Wife * Submissive to Allah (swt) * Woman of Deen (Righteous) * Obedient towards her husband in what is not disobedient to Allah (swt) * Pray her daily five prayers, fasts in the month and guards her chastity * Gives sadaqah (charities) and makes Istighfar (asking for forgiveness) * Makes the best of what she has (beautifies herself for her husband) * Going to bear many children (wants to have kids) * Loving and caring towards her husband and family (good caracter) * Should make her husband feel comfortable/relaxed (not source of arguments) * Loves her husband, looks out for him (taking care of him) * She merciful (patient, forgiving and overlooks his faults) * She is there for him and she gives good advice (supportive) * Don’t do thing in way her husband wouldn’t approve; she takes care of herself in her husband absence (protects his property, honor and reputation * Being grateful (shows appreciation) * Try not to curse (upon people)

personally I feel like I would try my best at all of the qualities, however the one that makes me nervous is 'obeying your husband' i do understand the importance of it but i think its due the number of men who will take advantage and begin controlling the wife in a way which will eventually become oppressive, that scares me.
