Quite apart from how hard it must be to play in those costumes, I'm amazed they don't keel over from heat stroke. It's hot enough under stage lights with that many people already, let alone then having to do the whole thing in a massive furry costume.

1. The costumes actually protect the artists from the stage lights to a significant degree. 2. I would bet money that those bulky costumes allow enough room to add some kind of airflow device, definitely a fan, but possibly even a water cooler or something more potent.

I saw BabyMetal at the Sony Theater in Manhattan. They were awesome, actually. The girls dancing choreography was so on point, and they actually sing, cuz the lead singer would run out of breath a little bit sometimes, and they also do that whole 'crowd interaction say yeah!' stuff in the middle of songs. And the band is SO GOOD. Everyone got solos. Both guitarists, the bass player, the drummer. It was a mid length show cuz they only had 2 records when I seen 'em, but it was surprisingly good.

@@quyphuongtay Eh, I don't know, I did see Akkuma on his/her own playing guitar before. What I was able to take away from it was that it must be really difficult to play anything that's not power chords with gloves like that. I *did* get guitar gloves though and they really help me play better and also help make sure the strings last longer so hopefully in the future these guys could look into those.

Under the suit? Idk.)
