My favorite non-drummer difficulty is being unable to use 2-3 limbs at the same time , haha (not teasing, but I think it makes up for the fact I can't really read sheet music very well). I'm not a very good drummer like legendary Nyango Star, but when I try to teach people a basic rock beat for funsies, you can see their brains go into maximum overdrive trying to figure out how to use hands and feet at the same time

I'm not saying that you can't break a drum, you certainly can, but I've personally had to replace far more drumsticks than drums. Frankly, whenever I hit any percussion instrument, I tend to be more scared of my busted up hands releasing the stick and getting hit in the face with it than breaking the instrument.
