Trust the process boys. Daniel Popper yesterday brought up the fact that Harbaugh got blown out in his first preseason game with the 49ers 26-3. He went into the regular season with Alex Smith and Colin KAP and went 13 and three and an NFC championship game, let the regular season play out and then pass judgment.

Good point but people have forgotten that they year before Harbaugh arrived in SF they were considered an up and coming team with lots of talent. The Chargers have ONE, maybe two, talented players that some other team might want to trade for. SF offensive and defensive lines were considered young and top notch. Telesco is the one who screwed the Chargers.

Well said Daniel: The Chargers had their chance with more options and then they resigned Easton Stick. Harbaugh and Hortiz muffed that one. As for signing an aged-out relic like Tannehill, that’s a hard pass. Tyler Huntley would be a superior option.

The main issue was the oline, especially the tackles. Foster sorrell leatherwood, and Jordan mccfadden should never see the field if they eant to keeo Herbert protected from serious injury. Our backups qb suck, but the pocket caved in from the outside in consistently. Im also pretty disappointed how slow and unaware justin eboybie looked. Still looked good, and joe alt looks like a stud. But our offensive line depth is real bad.

Ryan Tannehill, Tyler Heineke, Josh Doubbs have starting QB experience. If Herbert likes Stick so much, park him on the practice squad so he's in the QB room during the week. It is apparent that the NFL game is too big for Easton Stuck.

He has been sitting on the bench for years and is just rusty. Duggan is no joke and this new guy looks good. It was just one feel out preseason game with no upfront blocking. Johnny Unitas, Dan Marino, Tom Brady, Joe Montana would be running for their life with no run game and no pass protection. Even Jim Harbaugh said the same. The offense was a collective failure.

WHY did the Chargers not sign an experienced back up. Herbert is in jury prone (on the Chargers who isn't injury prone). Stick played HORRIBLE in the games he started last year. Instead of last they might rank 24th on defense.
