In 1995, Harbaugh led the NFL in passer rating From 1991-1997, he was the only QB not named Steve Young to win the passer rating title

Since when did leading the league in passer rating called the passing title? Passing title would be referring to yards. And harbough finished 24th in yards that year with only 2575. Not good at all.

@@kcomaoHe also only started 12 games that year. That’s over 200 yards a game. How’s that “not good at all”? Way to make such a confident statement yet have no idea what you’re talking about.

@@jeremiahhayward8452 so that would put him at 19th that year at yards per game. So that’s the bottom half of starting quarter backs. So Yes, not very good.

Brought back some memories, for sure. And Harbaugh could ball! He was actually a decent running QB, running through tacklers instead of sliding. The ugly Ravens helmet logo back then; curious as to why the failed Hail Mary was shown. Most Hail Marys fail, they should have shown a successful one (if he had one). Just read through a bunch of comments before mine. I see people commenting on his 66-74 record as to why he wouldn't have won a SB, or be considered great. There are a couple of other players that come to mind, one being Barry Sanders, who's team had a 74-79 record while he played for them. Would you not consider Sanders to be one of the best (if not the best) runner of all time?

Harbaugh wasn't the most talented but what he had was blood and guts. Looking at it that way he could e played in any era. That magical season in Indy was one of the more remarkable seasons ever. That team would be remembered more today if they made the SB. '95 really was a lightning in a bottle year. I wonder if he's ever used things he learned/experienced that year in any of his coaching.

@@boogitybear2283 The '70s to mid '80s was more brutal but it was definitely way more brutal than it is now.

THe nice thing about the old regional coverages was the announcers were losing their mind over big plays. Awesome.

Always liked Harbaugh. For some reason I always thought he was a bit of a smaller QB than he actually was (6'3 215) he didn't look big on the field. He was somebody that just found ways to get it done, nomatter how ugly it was or what kind of game he was having to that point. Not the best accuracy, average arm, sometimes he could be a bit sloppy due to trying too hard...but he was smart, elusive, and just had naturally good football instincts. A very high football IQ. He was very good when plays broke down and thrived in pressure situations. And he also didn't throw very many interceptions

I think he had a better than average arm. You can see some of these throws in the highlights were damn good throws.
