Hows it going....question?.....i have a duralast 8 amp charger/maintainer for standard or AGM 12v batteries....you think i can use it to charge an xs power d3400? Thanks in advance

That should work just fine if it’s made for agm batteries.

I'm going to upgrade my 1 battery to 2 batteries with a battery isolator on my 2003 Silverado, and I was looking at getting 2 Duracell platinum AGM batteries, do you think that would be sufficient for a 3400 watt system, and how's your set-up holding up. I'm asking because there's lots of video on xspower, kinetik, and Northstar battery. Or should go with one of them

CAN YOU PLUG THE CHARGER INTO A INVERTER, TO KEEP THE BATTERIES CHARGED WHILE PLAYING

Greetings: So I am trying 2 imagine this connection diagram. A few possibilities. 1) The underhood batteries isolated from the AGMs in the rear? If so, how? That said the AGMs do not get charged by the alternator? 2) All batteries R in constant parallel? That said the AGMs R charged by the alternator and underhood batteries? If so Y the 0AWG wire from a (stock?) Alternator? No disrespect. I can make my point after replied explanation(s).

Is there any other car audio batteries that you don't have to charge. That's ridiculous charging up batteries. WTF 😒😒
@EARDRUMASSASSIN3 жыл бұрын
No . All types of batteries need to be charged periodically. Going on long rides without the stereo playing can help charge em up and requires less charging from an actual 🔌 charger.

Depending how much draw you have on the battery really determines how often to charge it. If your amp is drawing more current than your alt can handle, you’ll be breaking out the charger more often.

Yeah definitely a great little charger to have around, I picked up a similar style from the same brand mine is probably just the new model. They are great charger since I use them for everything everything from standard lead acid car batteries to motorcycle/atv batteries to my stereo batteries I have a much larger charger but it’s not very convenient to lug around and it only does standard lead acid so I use this one a lot more
