(TW: Miscarriage) This is the hardest video I have ever uploaded. Took me a month to film it after the incident and more than a month to actually bring myself to edit it. I teared so many times while editing and reliving the experience, but I told myself that the ultimate end goal for sharing this is to create awareness about miscarriages and to help those who are experiencing this heartbreaking event like I did. If you're here because you can relate to this, I am here for you. I know how it feels. I'm praying for you. Please know that you are not alone. Stay strong Charis. I’ve also lost my first baby at 11 weeks appointment, and doctor said my baby already stopped growing since 8 weeks. That was during March 2021 which is the beginning of MCO. I did D&C as well. Miscarriage is same as giving birth as your body gone through a lot, so I recommend to go to TCM, take Chinese herbs to heal your body. I took Chinese meds for 2 months, and got pregnant again in June, now my girl is 11 months old. So don’t give up ❤️

So sorry to hear about your loss. I suffered three miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy in my childbearing years. I've been pregnant 9 times. My most recent miscarriage was in May 2017 around my 40th birthday. I naturally miscarried at home. I was blessed to have my rainbow baby on 8/9/21. So please don't give up. Having experienced miscarriages (twice) myself, sometimes it is hard to grasp around the idea of miscarriage being something that could happen or a norm. It is hard to be part of the statistics and harder when people assume that there is something wrong with you when in reality it just happens. I believe that everything happens for a reason and just as you have mentioned, it is not your/our fault that it happened. I really really thank you for sharing this video. Dear Charis….I can relate to your experience…I suffered 2 miscarriages too…the first one was at 2 mths and the 2nd was at 3 mths…I understand how painful and helpless you must have felt… At first,I blamed myself for everything that happened…i asked myself was it something i ate? Something i did? I just couldn’t understand why it happened… The gynae had an explanation for this…He said that it’s just a natural selection.Basically the body has a natural way of terminating a pregnancy that has the potential to harm or even if the baby survive…the baby might have health problems. I went through 2 D&C procedure… You’re right…it is so painful,emotionally… We had funerals for our unborn babies…I believe they are angels in heaven now…😇😇 Charis…I want you to believe in God’s plan.God has a plan to bless and prosper you and not to harm you. Go through the grieving procedure…take baby steps…get support.I know it’s very tough.Only those who went through it can understand how you feel. Charis,I pray that God gives you strength & comfort you.He has a better plan for you and Daryl. Trust Him. After 2 miscarriages…I waited for 6 years for God’s answer to my prayers and in 2019…Nov…i gave birth to my 2nd baby.She’s perfect and I named her Christine Zoe.Christine which means Christ in you and Zoe means Life in Greek lg. God has blessed me with my eldest daughter…currently she’s 14 yo and my miracle baby…God’s answer to my prayers…Christine who is an active and cheerful 2 yo toddler… God is good.All the time. I am sorry for your loss, you are still a mother through it all 🤍 I had a miscarriage last September 2021 and I was just about 6 weeks then. When you talked about your experience in the hospital, I couldn’t help but recall my experience too..I experienced heavy bleeding and had a total miscarriage when I was in the hospital..I cried long and hard during and post-miscarriage. It has been more than 3 months now, I still grief and cry about our angel. I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I actually have a story to share - about a friend of mine. She's married for about 3 years now and she had experienced miscarriages too. It has been the most difficult time for her and her husband too as they have been working hard to have a baby for as long as I can remember. People says third time is a charm and it befits them both. They're now finally pregnant with their first child and expecting by the end of January. Be strong ya! To that, may everything will get better for both of you. This is touching but at the same time , heartbreaking. I can relate to you as I had a miscarriage back in may , it was the most hardest thing I had to go through so I understand your pain. Definitely right to have a support person / person to talk to because it’s so helpful. I am now 33 weeks pregnant but everyday I’m still holding onto my breath as I remembered my miscarriage. Thank you for sharing your truth! So many soon to be mums out there go through miscarriages alone without really knowing that there are others go through it too as many don't dare or choose to share such a traumatic event. I hope this provides support to many going through the same thing. And many not knowing how to start the conversation, especially all the complex feelings one would feel going through something like this. When I found myself having to support someone going through their 3rd miscarriage, I didn't know how to respond but it took time to learn, the conversation is hard but I'm glad that the conversation was had.

I stumbled upon this video randomly and just want to share my experience. 2016, i had a miscarriage at 8 weeks. Found out i was pregnant at 5 weeks. It was a tough month, to say the least. The feeling that you carried a baby and you lost it. You blame yourself and all. The doctor convinced me that it wasnt my fault. To put in a simpler term, the baby is “unhealthy” to keep growing. My fear was - can i ever have a healthy pregnancy in the future? Doctor said i am 100% fit to carry a baby, do not worry. The fact that I was pregnant convinced her that I will be pregnant again if I try. I was pregnant again 7 months after DNC. Fast forward to 2022, I have a 4yo daughter and almost 2yo twin boys. ❤️ Whoever experiencing miscarriage, be strong. Don’t lose hope. It’s important to have good support system. Surround yourself with positive people, not makcik bawang.

Hi charis . I just saw your videos . Im having the same situation as yours , i just come out from the hospital yesterday . I had my baby through "stillbirth" and she was 23 weeks of age , through normal delivery . She was gone due to chromosome abnormal . Doctor scan her , and her heartbeat isnt there anymore . So i gave stillbirth to my heaven baby . And send her to funeral . This was hard moment for me , but i knew that God have His own plan in the future . Now im on my confinement without baby . And im slowly healing all my emotions , mentally and physically .. May god bless all mothers have this situation . We are strong mothers Love , Lydia
