Christmas is such a time for memories. Loved your beautiful and fun finds. My twin sister passes away a couple of years ago. She lived in Germany for many years and collected wooden Christmas tree decorations and other wooden Christmas items. These have come to me and I use them every year. They have more value with the passage of time x

I try not to go in too often because I always come out with a few things I don't need. I often pick up small Lennox vases and give them as gifts.

And I would have bought that gorgeous "Victorian" tree skirt in a second! The string and nail art is not a new thing at all...we used to make all kinds of wall art with that method back in the '70s.

Great finds! Show us how you used and displayed. I found several pieces of Waterford. A biscuit barrel for 14.00, a large clock 15.00, a large bowl 18.00, a candy dish 8.00 and a candle stick for 6.00. I’m sure they didn’t realize they were Waterford crystal. I’m not sure of the patterns but, I was so proud to add to my Waterford collection. We have many thrift and Antique store around the Dallas are. Does anyone else get frustrated seeing something you'd like to buy but from stores like this one but live too far away?

I would love to shop at this charity thrift. Like others, I saw so many things I would have purchased. And I wouldn't wait for the price to drop.......I'd want it NOW! The pricers at my neighborhood thrift don't seem to know the value of Waterford, Orrefors, Mikasa, Lenox and other high end brands. And I'm NOT gonna educate them!

I agree that there is no need to let your shops know about the brands. They price and you buy. I have waited for prices to drop and been hugely disappointed. If it fits my budget, I try and buy it when I see it.

Glad that Kelly responded to you. The shop does not have an online store nor do they ship. You could check out Goodwill online for treasures. I have featured many segments on this "best kept secret".
