www.vladtv.com - Charlamagne tha God says that he was happy when he didn't know who Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman was during the mega druglord's arrest earlier this year. The South Carolina native, who you can check out on MTV2's "Guy Code," airing Wednesdays at 11PM, explains that being unaware of Guzman's identity showed how far he had distanced himself from the drug world.
The "Charlamagne & Friends" host also opens up about his past life as a crack dealer, recalling that while he was never big-time, he did sell drugs at one point.
When asked about his worst experience, Charlamagne says that he once started hallucinating while smoking weed and became convinced that the police were coming. After his friends calmed him down, The Breakfast Club host says the next thing he knew, police were rolling up the driveway in a van. He and his buddies ran out the back door in fear, and it was after that moment when Charlamagne knew he never wanted anything to do with the drug life again.

your reaction to weed is totally based on your mind frame before smoking. weed does allow you to open up your third eye and take in everything especially the energies that surround you so you notice everything in more detail. if you control your thoughts you control your universe... remember that the next time you're smoking. it's all a mind game.

It's interesting hearing him talk about how the effect weed had on him changed. The same thing happened to me. I used to really enjoy smoking. It used to enhance everything I did, watching movies, writing, drawing...out of nowhere, it just changed for me. I no longer enjoyed it. I couldn't smoke w/o thinking WAY too much, and thinking about nothing but negative shit, at that.

+mrtony80 and you wanna know why? because you prob ended up smoking 3 joints in an hour. if you keept smoking like you did when you started you will have the same effect etc, if you start more and more you will end up bored after a joint or w/e. get clean and smoke a joint, smoke a joint after you've been smoking for months. what do you expect? or you might just have wrong strain for you =) there is always one strain that loves you and you her.

One thing i know about charlamagne is that he's always honest and tells people everything....He tells us he used to sell crack and that he was in and out of prison and that he ran from the cops... He's even admitted to letting his dog lick his balls and not stopping him in one of his previous videos....Now with that being said, what makes you think Charlamagne would hide or not admit to smoking anything other than weed.

Wow Charlemagne a real dude. & he's right about stopping, and then trying to start again. I became soooo paranoid after trying again. The craziest thing is you know your paranoia comes from the pot, but your mind makes you believe its real. Weed opens up your subconscious, and makes you adaptable to other ppls energy. If u smoke every week your not getting the full high.
@Blueswailer
@Blueswailer 9 жыл бұрын
Nick Harley I'm almost 30, started smoking weed at 13-14, can still go through fourth of an ounce a day though I don't usually smoke that fast. I don't get any paranoia from it even though I've had a couple of breaks in between around a year long after which I started smoking again. Longest time continually was 7 months I think. You already have that paranoia in you, weed just triggers that shit. Though I want to keep my short-term tolerance in check so currently I'm having a break of a couple weeks from it.
@Blueswailer
@Blueswailer 9 жыл бұрын
Tich Kangai That it does. Everyone has approximately the same building blocks in their brains, yet everyone's brain chemistry is unique. I sometimes get paranoid from magic mushrooms. Even if the trip isn't "bad" otherwise(as in I don't see or hear unpleasant/scary things etc. I don't think I've ever had a full-on bad trip) the feelings just manifest. It's a good thing sleeping it off helps anyway.

Weed brings you to the present & intensifies the emotions. So when you start thinking about your present situation it can get intense to the point where the pain of staying this way is far greater than the pleasure, the seesaw tips and you are *motivated* to change.

This is actually an inspiring story. (especially for those drugheads among you who aren't too busy critiquing the quality of his past drug use). This dude was basically wasting his life away and turned his life around, started hustling LEGALLY (even working at Taco Bell at one point) and ended up living out his dreams as someone we all know. Yall are on this video, because you care what he has to say. If that ain't an inspiration, I don't know what is.

Perfect definition of the trap, trap lifestyle and the repetitive scenarios that comes with it. Now rethink your fav. rapper who you thought was a "t-rapper" or 'been in the trap" = frauds, the ones who glorify are the ones who saw it from a window cuz they were intrigued by the mechanics of it.
