Yes, people with aphasia as they clamed she had, does *not* sound like that. It is extremely hard to even understand a few words because there is a cognitive issue that doesn’t allow the person to connect their though with their mouth and tongue. It’s a disconnect that will make it almost impossible to understand them AND it’s progressive too. It’s been a long time since her team put out that statement that she had aphasia, and anyone can hear she has no issues expressing herself. Just listen to what she says in the video.

As someone who works with dementia patients as a social worker for a living. Dementia can look so many different ways to be considered incapacitated. You could be doing really good even for a whole week straight in midstream. In between, you could have a complete left where you don't even know how to walk, talk, or do anything. Dementia shows up in many different ways.

I've been saying she wasn't INCAPACITATED. The " guardianship" is still trying. I've worked with dementia for a decade and when it's a great day it's GREAT!! I've also been saying that in her lucid days record her on her phone reading the tabloids & commenting. Even IF that were true and she can be on the radio again-why would yall even want that for her? She CLEARLY has not been well for quite some time now. If she were, the show wouldn’t have ended in the first place. 1 or 2 moments of clarity/lucidity are normal for those suffering from dementia, but there is no cure. The unpredictablity of the disease is just not feasible to maintain a radio show. Plus it just seems like she just has more important things that deserve her energy-her sobriety, finances, guardianship, etc.
