And my idea for more "How good was" would be players from the Winning Time era. Particularly players who heavily were featured in Season 1 or likely will be in future seasons. Kareem is the obvious one if you're looking for a Laker and already have something on Magic pending. Prominent Lakers rivals from the first half of the 80s would be people like Dr. J, Moses Malone and Kevin McHale (who I'd really love to see something on, given how revered he was by opponents and how much of a role he played in the 84 Finals). And if you're looking for something different, I'd absolutely watch a video on the 84 and 85 Finals. I'm not sure how you'd structure it and not make it too long. But I don't think there's a better two-year sequence in Finals history between two teams and I think the Warriors and Cavs from 15 to 16 and then 16 to 17 are the only ones that come close. 84 really should have been a Lakers sweep. Instead they choked 2 games and were tied 2-2 and Boston kind of took over. In 85, the Lakers responded by being the only visiting team to ever win a Finals series at the Garden,

Barkley, Ewing, Stockton, Malone, Reggie Miller, Shawn Kemp, greatest players never to win a ring, were they victims of Jordan and Pippen, or the expansion teams that sucked up the talent and any possible supporting cast? I guess in the case of Ewing he was also a victim of Hakeem.
