My Father died 5 weeks ago. He was 88 years and 4 months old, and outlived my Mother by over 24 years, he never re married, and lived alone, but always, always missed her...... Terribly. They were married for over 40 years. He had quite a long drawn out debilitating passing, and looking back, not once did he complain, he was deaf, almost blind, and suffered with a form of delirium, which caused him to see many horrible things, in his last 18 months. He was my hero. l am him, in so many, many ways. And by sheer coincidence, he had the very same reading at his funeral. l do not think anyone may know this. I choose to believe in those words. And l shall see my Mother and Father once more, when it is time, until then, l shall live by those words.

I’m so very sorry for the loss of your dad. It took me a very long time to be able to keep going on after the loss of my mom about 11 years ago. Actually it was 6 years before I could actually learn to live again. It’s very difficult for me to handle death. She took a piece of my heart with her. I wish better for you and others dealing with the death of a loved one.

I have to contradict this orator. I met Charles Bronson numerous times and he was very soft spoken, kind and very thankful. I worked at a hospital in TX when Jill Ireland was diagnosed with breast cancer. She happened to be under the care of a Oncologist, Dr Duer, who was on staff. Whenever she was admitted they would bring her through the ER, to avoid social media. She was very sweet. Each time she came in, you could see the cancer was beating her. Charles Bronson , when visiting her, would also come through ER and wait for one of us to escort him up. Even though he was older he had masculinity all over hum and was always a gentleman. I can remember she lost her battle and you could see how the life had been sucked out of him. You always saw the love between them. May they both RIP.

I remember him as a kid in the 50s....he mostly played Indians and was rugged and gruff. Later on in his career his acting got better and better and he also was better looking :) I loved his movies and loved that fact that he treasured Jill and cared for her to the end. It crushed him. She died at 54 and he at 81 so there was an age difference. I feel that being loved by her softened him. We are all a product of our early years and that really never leaves us. Nice to see where he is now.

Real and true love always will soften even the hardest of hearts of most. There’s always an exception to that of course. If you’ve truly got an evil heart then I doubt even love can totally find its way. Here’s to hoping we can all bring more love into a hardened and selfish world.

Loved Charles Bronson and Jill. I believe she had died of breast cancer. So sad. Her first husband, David McCallum had starred in "The Man From Uncle". Illia Curriaucken, not sure how it was spelled. He was a Russian spy that worked for UNCLE. Loved that show.

I believe David McCallum is still Alive, he Recently Stared as a Medical Examiner in CSI type of TV Series , and 1 of the Few Actors still alive from the movie " The Great Escape " . . . .

Ron, I think that was my favorite video so far, I appreciate you saying the things you did about Charles, he and his movies remind me of younger life and what you said about him having to wear his sisters dresses to school broke my heart, I can't say enough of what a cool and educational channel this is , I hope young people are watching it and learning how to treat the dead AND the living, thanks again Ron

Ron, I hope you are having a fantastic time in Vermont!! If you make it to Massachusetts, that’s where you’ll fine some of the oldest (settler) graves in America. Charles Bronson❤️❤️❤️

I just found your channel and I’m hooked! I’ve always found cemeteries fascinating. If you haven’t been to Wyuka Cemetery in Lincoln, Nebraska you should add it to your list. It’s very beautiful and has several famous and infamous people buried within. If you stop by their office just inside the gates, they have brochures and a self-guided tour. It’s an amazing place!
