Great story. Can’t help think of a girl I grew up with who had been widowed 3 times by the time she was in her early 40’s, 2 from aggressive cancers and one a heart attack “very overweight”. Such a sweet girl, but all the single guys in the small town were scared to date her after that, she was referred to as “The Black Widow”. What a series of tragedies for such a sweet girl, life is tough some times.

Happy Holidays! Mr. Ron, your intro with your drone is awesome. I was working for a church years back, one day I received a call from a priest that needed documents of marriage because he was concerned in regards of a lady that had been married 7 times who all husbands had passed away 2-3 years of being married and she wanted to marry her eighth husband. I remember the priest telling me, "Im suspicious." I told him, I would be to, and I would not even marry her with the eighth husband, no way Jozé"😊 I've always wondered whatever happened - if she ever married her eighth husband.

I have spent many hours at Maple Hill, but have spent most of my time in the “newer” part near the back closer to Dead Children’s Playground and have found it very peaceful; however, when I venture to the older part I get such an overpowering uneasy, almost sinister feeling. I’m not prone to putting much stock in such things, but I cannot shake the feeling. On another note: thanks for this story. Very well done.
