Mr. Coulombe, the author of The Pope’s Legion, and Puritan’s Empire: A Catholic Perspective on American History. Coulombe is recognized internationally for his in-depth knowledge of Vatican politics and the influence of Catholicism in America and Europe. His international articles have appeared in the New Oxford Review, National Catholic Register, American Thinker, Los Angeles Catholic Mission, Monarchy Canada, and Taki’s Magazine.

Brilliant talk. La révolution tranquille au québec snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Every generation of French Canadians after 1660 doubled in population until the 1960s, by then making up about 30% of the Canadian population. Then la revanche des berceaux (revenge of the cradle) gave way to the secular maîtres chez nous (masters in our own house). They could have been the majority if birthrates continued. Downhill ever since.

I wonder if Charles thinks the mass should be said in Latin again? I only speak English so would the homily be in English? I’m from Connecticut. I took French in school but am far from being fluent.

Yes, from what I've seen regarding his opinions on the topic, Charles is a big proponent of the TLM and would prefer Mass in Latin to be the norm. Homilies would, of course, be in the vernacular.
