Just saw your comment. I think that makes it offiicial. A decent, human, politician, it is then.

Shame that the good ones die young and people don't recognise how good they were until their gone.

All things considered, Chatshow Charlie accomplished a good many of what he initially set out to do. In my book, he is an accomplished politician. He deserves a decent burial. I wish him all the best in the afterlife.

A sad loss indeed that a politician of real quality was gone far too soon. He was absolutely right about the Iraq War, The case for it was never adequately made, as the Chilcot Report clearly stated. A tragedy that he was not listened To, and 179 British military personnel need not have died, and the crippled and seriously wounded British soldiers need not have been Hurt. He was deservedly liked throughout Scotland, the rest of the UK and British politics. A politician of his quality Is just about as extinct as the dodo these days.

Was always my fav politician growing up. Not just saying that. Same as Ryan Dunn, was my fav member out of MTV's Jackass long before he died. Damn, why do the best ones go sooner than the mediocre?
