Charles Lawson - Satan's Deceptive Scripture-Twisting Modern Bibles... FULL SERMON

Are you sure you're going to heaven when you die? Or are you willing to chance your eternal soul and possibly end up in hell fire?? Why not make sure of the matter today, while there is still time?
The good news is: You can KNOW that you're going to heaven. The Bible clearly states:
"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." 1 John 5:13
You see, God wants us to KNOW, and have the matter settled. There can be no misery greater than living life wondering if some day you will lift up your eyes in hell!
The Bible so wonderfully makes salvation clear. It is a gift given of God, that cannot be earned in any way of our own doing.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost." Titus 3:5
Jesus Christ made this wonderful, free salvation possible.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
Do you see what the verse says? It is simply BELIEF, or rather FAITH, TRUST, in Jesus Christ that saves. I am so thankful for these following verses that tell of man who sincerely wanted to be saved, and was told how:
"Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." Acts 16:29-30
Christ came to this earth, God in the flesh, a perfect man who never committed sin. He sacrificed His life of the cross of Calvary, shed His blood, as PAYMENT for our sin. You see, our sin separates us from a perfect and Holy God. We have no way to approach God in and of ourselves, for He is HOLY, righteous, perfect, and pure. He cannot tolerate sin. So Jesus took upon Himself the sins of the world, that we might be reconciled *(bought back) to God. We can come to the Father through Jesus Christ His Son!
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6
So what must I believe, more specifically, about Jesus Christ to be eternally saved, you may ask...? You are saved by BELIEVING the good news of the Gospel, Christ's death, burial, and resurrection!
When you accept this beautiful truth, that Christ loves you and died for YOUR sins, and arose from the grave FOR YOU, TO SAVE YOU FROM HELL, and you simply say yes to Him (call upon the Lord), in child-like simplicity, offering nothing of yourself or self-righteousness to God, but clinging only to CHRIST'S MERIT and HIS righteousness, YOU WILL BE SAVED.
1 Corinthians 15 says:
"1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 BY WHICH ALSO YE ARE SAVED, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
Would you be willing to put your whole-hearted faith on Jesus to make it to heaven... instead of trusting yourself and your own way? If you say yes, and will trust what the Bible promises to every sinner who would believe on Jesus Christ, would you humbly go to God in prayer and ask Him to save you in the name of Jesus?

I was in a church one day and during a break I got talking to the man next to me who had come in with his friends. I asked him if he was saved? He told me that he had fallen away from the church because he found that he could not believe in a God that would send anyone to hell. I replied to him that God doesn't send anybody to hell, they personally volunteer to go there by refusing to believe that they are sinners and that God gave His only begotten son to pay the penalty for their sins, God wants all men to be saved. That really shook him up and I believe that my words helped turn him back to the church. I pray that all sinners get to hear this message. Preachers who tell it like it should be told, and how it really is, are extremely rare and hard to find. The end is really nigh and it is soon going to be too late for so many sinners. I say Amen to this sermon.

This is so interesting, confirms what I have long suspected after reading the King James Bible through and having so much difficulty finding a church fellowship that 'follows what the bible says' so many religions now have made their own rules and it directly opposes what Jesus taught in the Bible. Some say 'it's how the bible is interpretted' but actually after reading it through cover to cover and starting back again, it is actually VERY CLEAR on every detail on how we are supposed to live. And since it is 'the living word' the more you read it the more understanding opens up to you...the bible isn't mean to be read only once-to ensure salvation it must be continually read and prayed on so that God can reveal to us how his word relates to us, and what areas of our life need more of his word applied to it. It's a travesty to be a Christian and not have read your bible, it is the only way to know the difference between serving God or serving satan and the flesh- many religions are in it for Money and power and the true word of God warns of these wolves in sheeps clothing and worshipping idols or even Mary- Jesus said clearly to worship none but God, even when angels came and people fell to their knees throughout the bible every angel corrected this each time saying to 'only serve The Lord your God'. If you don't make the time to read your Bible you will have no way of discerning whether you are being misled or if you are on the true path. Finally, someone who understands the truth. Every single truly great pastor I have ever witnessed has a good old fashioned KJV in his hand (no matter what denomination). Then they came out with the NKJV and more often than not they have that demonic triquetra on the side of it, a thing that Acts 17-29 forbids. This is a graven image. Graven literally means deeply embedded carved or firmly affixed. It is not just referring to wood and stone, but any image intended to represent the Godhead. I do not believe God takes this lightly. In my opinion, this is one of the most subtle things the devil has done. Pastors should seek God on this if they have brought this symbol or any other of the Godhead into His holy place. How can the fullness of the anointing of God flow in a place that is in violation of the scripture? I believe Jesus is the word made flesh and there is only one Jesus, one holy spirit, one standard that God anointed as His word on the earth. When we depart from that, we are inviting confusion. And that author is never Jesus.

PRAYERS NEEDED FOR MY WIFE AND FOR MY MARRIAGE THAT IS BEING INVADED BY THE devil!!!!! I ask for prayers for my Wife right now, we are separated, she's abandoned me, satin has her blinded by thinking she doesn't need to reconcile with me, that God really won't "hold it against her if she doesn't reconcile". So brother's and sister's I ask, and plea for prayers for my wife to get back that love for God, to live by His way not her way, not to twist God's word into fitting the way SHE WANTS TO LIVE. I know when my wife is protected by God, satins hooks will be off her, and my step daughter's. My wife is being lead to believe that God is blessing her because she attends Church every once in awhile, she reads His word every once in awhile, and she's taking a Bible study course, But I don't for one moment believe that this Bible course she's taking and who's giving it is teaching her God's true Word, His true Will and way. If so she would be home right now because she still loves me, she knows the right way, but she's being blinded. My step daughter's don't want us together because when we're together the children are held accountable for their actions, there is discipline here, and structure all according to Gods word. So when it's just my wife alone with her daughter's the girls know how to "play her" if you will, they make the rules, they know Mom(my wife) is all bark no bite. They are also being blinded because the devil has broken our marriage and by my wife staying in another state, without my leadership as a husband, as the head of the house, the spiritual leader they are ALL becoming more of the world. My step daughter's used to love Church, danced for God in Church, now they are mean to their peers, disrespectful to there mother and me, I could go on and on, I think you get the picture. So longer story short my wife is picking her daughter's will and wants over God's will and wants, over the Vows we had given each other in the presence of God and our Pastor. I'm down to my knees asking for a miracle from God to restore our marriage, to give my wife FAITH, because she's scared of the "WHAT IF", well there is no fear of the what if with God! Please help me to not lose my wife to the world and the devil. There are 4 souls at risk! My wives, and 3 step daughter's not counting the lives we could touch among our journey with God. I KNOW THAT GOD PUT ME IN MY WIVES LIFE TO FILL THE SPACE THAT WAS VOID IN THERE LIVES, they have no PRESENT dad, only me, they didn't go to Church before I lead them to God and then God saved them. Once we separated it's amazing how quickly the devil grabbed them again because they were still growing, like we all do everyday! If anyone read this lengthy request I thank you. And no, there has been no unusual arguing other than what all marriages hi through, we've been through a lot but NOTHING that God wouldn't still be with us and want us to reconcile. My wives name is Brooke, I just ask for prayers to restore my wife's Faith, her hope, and her love for God because I know once she truly loves God again, she will have Faith again, Faith that God will give us an abundance of love to share with our children and others. Thing is - the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob only authored"one" Scripture - just one. He didn't author the over 300 "versions" that we have in the bookstores today. God tells us that He is not the author of confusion - that is satan who brings confusion and division. . Just as God did not create all of these "religions" out in the world today - i.e. baptists, methodists, presby, mormon, catholic, scientology, etc. God is not a "religion" - He is GOD - and He authored - and gave us - just ONE Scripture - His Holy Written Word. . That is because God promises us He will preserve His Written Word for all generations. Which text has been around for over 400 years (in the English translation) - and which book have people tried their best to destroy but have been unable to - which book did the Roman catholic "church" try their best to destroy and burn all copies - and when that didn't work, they began torturing - slaughtering - burning at the stake - all Christians who were caught owning and/or reading from God's Written Word. . The answer - the King James 1611 Authorized BIBLE. It is satan who has duped us into referring to God's Written Word as a "version" - when it is NOT a "version" - it is GOD's ORIGINAL and ONLY Scripture - His Holy Written Word. Do we really believe that God had 300+ "books" written - and is sitting up there saying "Try to find the right one - see if you can pick it out" - lol no. . The hour is late - it's time we opened our eyes to God's Word - and He only gave us ONE. And that is the one we will all be judged by.

I know nothing in regards to the bible version issue but to be honest, I have a King James Bible, and I read it. I like it because the old english makes it easier personally for me to memorize verses, so if I were to quote a bible verse, I find the KJV wording easier to recite and memorize because it's different than the other versions. Even on the internet where I most of the time read the bible, I still pick the KJV over other translations that are available like NIV or ESV. Just my 2 cents.

The King James Bible originally had the Apocrypha, which is not in my version the the King James Bible(which is the Authorized Version), the Apocrypha is now only in the Catholic bible or some 1611 KJV Bibles(I also purchased a 1611 KJV Bible from Wal-mart and it did not contain the Apocrypha). There are also some old English translations, like the Geneva Bible in the year 1599

If the NASB is the most "literal" translation, explain to me how they have Joseph as being Jesus' father?? That's denying that Jesus was the Son of God, therefore questioning his divinity, thus denying the foundation of the Christian faith. Revelation 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto GOD and HIS FATHER; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. KJV Rev 1:6 and has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His GOD and Father NASB The NASB denies that Jesus is God.

I Only Read the Authorize King James Bible because it was Translated from the Textus Receptus, New Testament and the Masoretic Hebrew Text, Old Testament which is the True Scriptures!

What the Pastor said was totally correct in the context of discussing the TR since it was called the MT, the Byzantine Text and other names as well. The MT today is a new text that did not exist in Westcott and Horts day and that is the context that he was speaking of, how WH used an Alexandrian text (a few corrupt Mss) vs the TR which had vast Mss support, although not always (1Jn.5:7) There are many Latin words in all translations. The KJB was translated in the 17th century for us today.

In regard to what this great preacher was speaking of (the symbol used in medicine which has the snakes on it) he was speaking of the Caduceus. A very good article on the Caduceus can be found on the Wikipedia web site; and there is more to this Caduceus than really meets the eye, including evilness.

Riplinger says that Hort wrote to Westcott in 1860 and 61, and then she combines excerpts from two letters into one quotation (as though it were from the same letter), reversing the order of the excerpts so that the one from the 1861 letter appears first. Had she kept the correct chronological order, it would have been more obvious that the excerpts do not match and were from two different letters.

FOR FILTHY LUCRES SAKE: in order for any publushing company to be able to make money off of a book(i.e. the niv NOT INSPIRED BOOK) thats is already established and not just compensated ONE time for translation or education purposes, there has to be at LEAST a 10% difference from the translated or re-issued book in question. Hence, so many "improved" or better manuscripted editions

I would say so, in my opinion... so much is changed in the modern versions. They mess with the virgin birth, blood atonement, deity of Christ... it is insane. I will send you a short study on this that really helped me! Messing with God's Word is no good.

I can agree for the most part...however Jhn 8:24 I (Jesus) said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I AM [he], ye shall die in your sins. Unless one believes in Jesus or Yeshua of Nazareth as Messiah then they shall die in their sins.

Truly, the passage is referring to Jesus Christ, and it does plainly say that he preached to spirits in prison. However, it also removes the guessing that leads to the conflicting interpretations. It says that Christ died but was made alive again through the Spirit of God, “by whom” He preached to spirits in prison. So we know that the one who did the preaching was actually the Holy Spirit, not Christ directly.

Mr. Logsdon wrote to Mr. Lockman in fall of 1973 saying that he was moving to Florida. Mr. Lockman replied that he was surprised and saddened by his decision to leave the area. Mr. Lockman passed away in January of 1974, and no further correspondence was exchanged between Frank Logsdon and The Lockman Foundation. He lived in Largo, FL until his death.
