Max verstappen did the exact same mistake on FP3 in 2018 as someone else has commented. Its just a bad luck for the team...pole sitter is at a risk of troubled gearbox and sainz ending up at 4th...i see that leclerc thoroughly deserves this...it was a quick time and he did better than the rest in q1 and q2 as well

I searched "Monaco onboard lap" after playing a racing video game. I couldn't believe the speeds and tightness of the track were real. Turns out F1 drivers are insane. Some of these moves must be initiated before the turn can be seen. They're driving (and not dying) mainly by muscle memory. They're really using the visuals to tweak their racing line. The worst F1 driver is still a super-human.
