In qualifying for the first time since Barcelona 2012 I believe. But they didn't start this way, because the McLaren of Hamilton didn't have enough fuel he was excluded from qualifying.

@@asher9815 it was real... sort of. The result was Hamilton (Mclaren), Maldonado (Williams), Alonso (Ferrari). Due to Hamilton getting a penalty due to having too little fuel in the car, Maldonado and Alonso were pushed forward 1 slot

The fact that Lando was sliding right before he started his lap, and still managed to got this pole. Also, his race engineer was so surprised, and was finding it difficult to express. That’s why he was like, “okay ummm….(let’s just act normal) pole position mate. Pole position

McLaren, a team that lost its faith in the dark years (2007 with spygate, 2015-16-17 with Honda and 18 with Alonso) but slowly crawled back on popularity, starting from points and now, in 2021 they gained lots of points, a race win, a 1-2 and now a pole. Even if i am a die-hard Ferrari fan, i still emphatize for McLaren. Hope for the best in 2022

@@rishabhkutty5231 McLaren probably have their own, seperate measurement going and 10ms seems like a reasonable margin of error for that. It's probably the better alternative to the (hopefully) more accurate FIA measurements that have at least a few seconds of delay - if they can use those at all.
