Wow....I would just love to touch it..sit in Lindy,s seat. Magnificent piece of history.

Wow. Can you imagine owning a plane that was owned and flown by Lindbergh? The sound of that radial is pure aviation music. I had a chance to visit Lindbergh's grave in Maui. He picked a beautiful spot to rest.

I love how the engine cowling covers the engine up, yet leaves the cylinders out so they can run cool. Very aesthetic and functional. Cute like a button, just like Anne.

Green leaves, and fields full of new crops. People in shorts and no parkas. This makes me eagerly look forward to the warmth of late spring to enjoy flights to watch the sunset from the cockpit. Another gem of a video, Dewey. I always look forward to seeing your videos which brings out the romance and why we love flying so much. Thanks.

Those Kinner's have such a wonderful, unique sound! It must be an amazing feeling to pilot a plane that was once piloted by the Lindbergh's. If only that plane could tell stories!
@DeweyDavenport2 жыл бұрын
IMO, the aircraft can tell you many stories. The caretaker is responsible for keeping history alive. Andrew truly worked hard to take her to Airventure last year so thousands of people would appreciate the story. While he was in Ohio he took a few people for rides. Now they can tell part of the story. Just my opinion.

@@DeweyDavenport That's an interesting perspective. . . and I like it. I have a 1943 Taylorcraft L2M. I've often thought that I'm just the caretaker. You bring up a good point. I share the plane's story and at the same time, create new stories for those that accompany me. . . thereby keeping the story alive. One thing is certain, you and Andrew do a wonderful job of sharing the history and stories of the unique aircraft you fly. I always look forward to your videos. It's exciting to see what you'll surprise us with next!
