I liked this one a lot because it was true crime but not so disturbingly violent as the detailed descriptions of actual murders. Those seem popular, I just can’t stomach them. I’m going to tell you the joke I’m most proud of. It’s not a good joke, i just love it anyway. So I’ve worked in food/beverage manufacturing for many years, and on occasion I’ve been responsible for setting up retail displays in supermarkets. One time I was at a Kroger affiliate and some of the suits from corporate were visiting that particular store, and they were discussing Ralph’s, another Kroger market in Southern CA where Manson and the Family used to shop. They were saying that that’s something Ralph’s is locally famous for. I said, “You should market that. Now THAT’S how you sell cereal.” Because…serial killer. Nobody laughed but it still cracks me up.
