This is a great video. Mingus Ah Um is one of my very favorite albums. You even mentioned my favorite film director John Cassavetes. What a treat this was! And Porky Pig at the end was a great cherry on top, LOL.

7:19 OMG that’s my BIGGEST pet peeve when record labels just slap outtakes and bonus tracks at the end of an album. When I sit down to listen to an album it’s like watching a movie. Imagine watching The Good, The Bad and The Ugly and then before the credits roll they just slam all the deleted scenes and half finished takes and then the credits roll. Nah. Release that stuff as a separate thing.
