I like investing in close-end funds that pay monthly dividends. The trick is to hold long term and reinvest the monthly dividends plus buy more shares on a monthly basis or whenever you can afford to. This can be easily done because close-end funds are bought and sold on the stock market just like regular stock. That’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between $50k to $70k in dividend income

It's almost impossible for a company with no debt to go bankrupt. the U.S. is about 50% of the global market place, Pay yourself first. It's time in the market, not timing the market. last year I invested 100 grand in the S&P 500/ an allocation fund (with the help of my Financial Advisor Rita Lynn Evans of course) and made 370k, but guess what? The correct buy and sale in products and financial instrument. It is not the long term holding. If you buy 2000 dollars products or financial instruments you must able resale for 2200 or better each days. Because you make a living base on buy and resale.

I don't see any comment on Warren Buffett having a journalist arrested for asking questions at this year's Berkshire annual meeting. Hmmm.

Only 17K viewers on July 30 which is ~30 days after the first posting ... wisdom by definition is scarce for wisdom to be wisdom, I reckon.

It's just going along with what others were doing at that time not knowing anything better where your interests lie, and that's how it evolved with every circle around but when you take apart the layers you do realize what all got done in certain ignorance not really knowing better except certain things were at stake and those needed to be saved

I love listening to Charlie...especially when he reflects on his best friend and business partner. I am inspired by his knowledge and experience. I'm a block chain and crypto guy...different than conventional business, I use his principles to succeed. Hold or what I say ...HODL long term, I respect his midset. I learn from Charlie's and Warren's principles of investing...I continue to learn, remain open-minded and invest for the long term, especially with a new asset class...opportunity!!!
