Hey Charles! When you change the tuning on your bass do you tune the strings up or down?
@CharlesBerthoud

@@Nathan_North Depends on what tuning I'm going into. I generally just go for whichever one is closest and try not to tune up too high coz I might break the strings 🤣in that case I'd just put thinner strings on.

I have found a new outlet and you sir, are an inspiration. Love watching all of your content...now I just need to buy a decent Bass. Yesss, finally, I was looking for this video where you cover the SLAPP. It’s so interesting to compare you two. Take same amount of talent and put it into totally different circumstances and we’ve got you two. To me you sound the best when you play together. But I would love to see a colab where you are together live and just compare techniques. Davie could use someone to pull him out of his comfort slap zone and experiment a little. Every time he threw bit of tap or even rare harmonics into a song it sounded beautiful. We need more of that. You would be great for that job. And he seems to be that kind of a guy who gets better with every new technique. God, you two could change the world! It’s a shame you’ll never gonna see this but just in case you do, I’ll leave it out here. Here’s to new Victor Wooten and uh, whoever Davie resembles the most! 😊
