You keep saying, "He", I have 3, serious questions. Do you really think she is a boy? Does it matter? Are you intentionally misgendering this person? You are the best. I am just acknowledging that this is a serious faux pas. I try to watch all your content. You are amazing, TY!!!

@@avelinomike Charles is going back and forth between He and She depending on whether he’s talking about the arranger of the song (male) vs what the performer is doing (female). They’re two different people. Watch from 0:48 for clarity.

Ty for the insight. I've been a fan of Kinga's playing for maybe 7 years or so and every time I've said her name, I've mispronounced the ł. Even after hearing her name spoken by her, it sounded like they were saying the equivalent of Glick and not Gwick. It's a trip how convincingly your mind can alter your perception. Thanks again.

I discovered her maybe 5 years ago via a friend who was in Poland. Just love her! Her style, according to me, is similar to Tal Wilnenfeld, in that they both are very "melodic" when they play rather then kind of rhythmic. Not sure how old she is, but I don't think she is 30 yet. Wish she would come to the US to play! She is more into jazz, but does do some funk.
