Thank you so much for posting this! I'm very new to embroidery and have only done a couple pieces and wanted to try something other than flowers. I stumbled across this free pattern, downloaded it, but quickly got lost. lol. This is so helpful. Thank you! I also purchased your bundle embroidery classes and am just starting to get in to them, but I wanted to finish this pattern before beginning the others. Love it and I'm so excited to learn from you guys!

HI Heidi! Thanks so much for being with us and for your feedback and purchase of our courses! Though we completely understand that you want to finish the Rue Galande design first, you may find that it is much easier to embroider this pattern after having gone through the Architectural hand embroidery and Architectural Threadpainting class. Especially the Threadpainting course will give you a comprehensive understanding of the decisions that are behind the stitching that you can see Elin do on this design in this video. Why she makes a certain technique and direction of stitches etc. Even though there are other patterns in the courses, the fundamental techniques of Architectural designs are still the same :) Just a little tip!
