Whenever I see a modern weapon like this, it always makes me wonder how legendary it would have been 1000 years ago. The warriors of old would have been proud to wield a blade like this. Bravo! Keep making content, man, it's awesome stuff.

Me too, not to mention the ancient blacksmiths having thousands of years of practice through the generations. As great as these youtube swords are, they are made with what, 10-30 years of experience and practice maximum. Would be insane to see ancient swords in their prime.

Well done beautiful work. I like amongst other things the skin inlay before wrapping the handle. Cool idea and looks awesome. You should create a 1-episode video of the build and reupload. Would get you more views.

Very, very nice job (I'm a katana enthusiast, lol) you even got all the terms right. Well done sir. I would be thrilled to own or even get a chance to just hold such a beautiful katana.

That coffee etch seems very strong. Wonder what it would look like with a less strong, black tea ???? etch.

Wow! Over 24 hours and still no "but-this-is-no-real-katana" dickheads have arisen? Cool! But your sword is even more cool - well done!
