Thanks for watching guys! Please keep in mind, take OUR tests with a grain of salt. We're just two dudes who ride bikes and not scientists. All the double-blind, placebo testing HAS been done before and published in numerous scientific studies and white papers. They are all linked in the description. Please check them out if you're interested in knowing more :)

Jeremy improved his fitness from the first effort and was able to perform the at a higher level in the second week. This test doesn’t work with amateur athletes who have so many variables. Both of your results are changed by the benefits of hard training, not a sports drink. To claim that an athlete can gain this performance from keystones is wild. Yes, keystones have some benefits but more in the recovery for pro athletes.
@CharlesOuimet2 жыл бұрын
Hi! Agreed with you, this drink is not targeted at amateur athletes, but professionals & high level. If you have time, you can always check out the scientific tests studies done by proper scientist in the description of the video!

@@CharlesOuimet Yes, we’ve read the studies but that doesn’t take away from the fact that your video is extremely mis leading and outright false information.

@@jelecycliste8895 you clearly don’t understand exercise physiology. Fitness can definitely improve from one week to another in this rate with an athlete that isn’t in peak performance.

@@ProTourCycling I'm sorry you did not like the video, but claiming outright false information is a bit bold. Yes this video is in partnership with DeltaG, the creators & manufacturer company behind the Ketones Ester, and yes this video has been reviewed and approved by Prof. Clark to make sure all the information is true and accurate according to the numerous scientific studies linked . It's ok to have a different point of view on performance/recovery tools out there, find what works for you :)

@@CharlesOuimet What’s more bold, our feedback or your manipulative video with a flawed test claiming to be more accurate than GCN’s and astronomical claims around human performance improvements that this sports supplement can stimulate? Don’t try and manipulate people on the internet into thinking this drink alone can bring them results like seen in your test. This video is bad.

I just tried the TdeltaS Ketone Ester Delta G on endurance ride and had a miserable experience. It was like riding a "bonk" for thirty miles! Not at alI what I was expecting given the claims of extra endurance and focus. I definitely will not be using this product any more.

You'd need to spend $100 a day over the course of a season to see any kind of affect. If you are not a top end elite athlete, you are just throwing good money away that could be better used for other things.
@CharlesOuimet2 жыл бұрын
If spending 25-50$ extra per race (1 or 2 bottles) that can make the difference between a mid pack finish or a top 10, that sounds to me like an interresting option

@@CharlesOuimet yeah. It's getting that last ounce out when all other gains are already exploited. Nutrition, strength training etc.. are already maxed out and getting that last drop of marginal gains has it's payoff.

Hey man, sorry you didn't like this video. With the harsh canadian winter, it's almost impossible for me to create other form of content other than talking about products. The thing is, I love to geek out on products, I'm truly passionate about these and love to make this kind of video. Yes brands are involved, but it's my own views that is reflected. Hope you can understand and hopefully stick around for more videos. Otherwise, all good! Cheers

Hey seems that you are restricting carbohydrate to 3 bars, which does not make IT a fair game, when you are adding in ketones which is an energy source on the 2 ride. On Shorter rides where you can sustain proper glycogen, ketones to my understanding Will perform Worse. Ketones only perform Better if its the race is Long enough because you can run in it for some time( at a lower pace) an preserve glycogen

Super interesting. I'd love to see this test double blind with the participants not knowing if they got the real ketone ester or not. It would also be nice to have participants do one week on and one week off for a few weeks without knowing which is the placebo. This would negate any performance improvements from training over time and the psychological advantage of knowing you just drank ketones. All of this, of course, takes time and money. None of it is easy to do with new lockdown rules.
@CharlesOuimet2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Of course our testing is to take with a grain of salt as we're two dudes who just love cycling. But all these proper scientific testing with double blind has been done before (link in the video description)!

The preferred fuel for your brain is glucose. Ketones is a backup fuel so you don't die.
@CharlesOuimet2 жыл бұрын
Hi Marek, see below article : ''These results suggest that ketones are actually the preferred energy substrate for the brain because they enter the brain in proportion to their plasma concentration irrespective of glucose availability; if the energy needs of the brain are being increasingly met by ketones, glucose uptake decreases accordingly. This decrease in brain glucose uptake when both ketones and glucose are available supports the notion that ketones are the brain’s preferred fuel.'' www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4937039/
@marekzmazur20772 жыл бұрын
@@CharlesOuimet Great response. Thank you; however, this study looked at pre-AD seniors with declining glucose uptake by the brain. Of course brain function will improve if you add exogenous ketones. However, in nature your body will only produce ketones after being starved of glucose reserves. As soon as you consume any carbohydrates your brain starts utilizing glucose for fuel. Without exogenous ketones, fueling with ketones and glucose at the same time is not likely. Thus stating ketones is the preferred fuel for the brain for healthy people is not accurate.
@GTE_Channel7 ай бұрын
When ketones are present the brain will use up to 70% ketones. Having said this I do not believe the 'X uses Y first so Y is the most important fuel' argument in general.
