Hey Thomas!! That’s all Miami Cuban engineering! The owner is super cool and one of the busiest here. He was a friend of a friend so he actually did a lot of the work himself on site.

Did they pour those slabs twice the size they needed, then demo the half they did not need? Salt water will eat rebar which will swell then split apart concrete. What a waste.

11:57 why aren't they vibrating the air out and just tamping with a 2x4 instead? That's a lot of concrete they are pouring!! This has gotta be $$$$$$ 6 figure job.

Good point…maybe they did afterwards but due to the weight of the concrete it wasn’t necessary? It was a 6 figure job. Normally they charge $1000 a linear foot but once they need to dive, the price goes up to $1400 a linear foot. Then you need to choose the size of the dock and the materials for it too, and maybe prep for a boat lift.

Now that's a seawall..... But Miami has a lot of millionaires that could afford SEAWALL... What I wouldn't give to live in Miami-Dade maybe some of the 100,000s of the millionaires will rub off on me
