Every student has a fear of 'marking the test papers' Long story short: Everytime I say my test was good the mark is bad. But when I say the test is bad the mark is good. So I decided to say my test was bad to my parents. Which was a *really* bad idea

One thing I hate about teachers being all "I'm there for you", "We will work through this together", "You are not alone" is that not too long afterwards, they quickly abandon you and the support they promised you. It's like they think that just saying that they're there for you solves most of the problem when it doesn't. You need to show that you care and not just once out of the blue, but continuously. Because how else are we supposed to trust you?

My school unlike most public schools actually care about the student's mental health, well being, and stress related things. It actually teaches us how to not procrastinate, and gives us strategies to study, and how to cope with stress. So if there was this student therapy thing in my school, its not too far fetched.

You can see through anyone talking and it shouldn't be hard to see if after a few minutes ago they finished sending someone else to the office or threw a rager about someone else's comments or actions. You literally spend a lot of your time getting on peoples case and sending them to the office (perp or victim) why would I suddenly trust them to hold off on that.

@zeemonrollin83402 жыл бұрын
If the schools area has a reputation that they don't tolerate any negative talk or conflicts maybe straight up saying it, just have a different place to be able to go to that accommodates what you need and helps. The problem is that they don't make anything knew to help and just through everything onto the teachers. What I am saying is that they can work and care about their job, give them proper pay and resources and make other completely new sections for people to go to for a learning of a skill. Instead of colleges/universities or the absences of nothing for it, just have bits of communities that can teach something like art, pottery, metal working, etc.. The point is just have SOMETHING it doesn't really what but at least put some effort in, they completely ignored it.

My solution (to how to make the memory based education system better) is to have teacher evaluation of a student’s grades, based on how well they have done in class. If that was implemented, it should contribute 50% of the student’s overall grade, the other 50% coming from a regular test. Bear in mind this only applies to some subjects like maths, and maybe science. However it would not work in subjects like English, especially in things like creative writing. I’ve also heard that some few schools from my country (UK) do a similar thing where they have assessed course work which is I guess also a solution. Idk ik this isn’t the point of the video I just wanted to rant about how bad the education system is.

So when it came to rating my 5th period teacher she was right over my shoulder. (I hated this woman) so I rated her a 1 out of ten so she then treated me like trash for the rest of the year. It was worth it seeing her face for those few seconds thou

Oh, I thought it was the demonizing of this idea of school, when really we should be getting mad at the officials in charge for not creating another alterative of place to go for (It can be a learning skill of some sort) were you can also get to know and talk to people in there, and with more people coming in and out you would be able see more than the same hundred faces your greeted with each morning in building of faded yellow and children's laughter. The teachers say it isn't there job and they have a bunch of other kids to manage, that's because it isn't there job. There is plenty of crap going on up top and no one is going to change it because all they have to do only talk about 2 issues of the current moment, needing thousands of people to sway anything.
