I feel you brother. Was there when they shot my cousin in the head, I was literally looking in the guys eye as he pulled the trigger. That day hunted my memory for years, I can remember it all from the sound of the gun firing to the blood stain being left on my shirt. For so long all I could think about was when I’d get revenge on him, and I mean at any cost, I would’ve gladly left a trail of tears and blood behind me if it meant getting to him in the end. Caused me to enter the worst period of my life as my heart was split, part of me wanted revenge with everything in my soul and the other half knew I was better than this, knew I had to be better than the other people in my family, and knew the outcome that it gets you. Once I realized that me, being the oldest male in my close family who isn’t dead or in jail, I saw a lot of the younger kids looking up to me and wanting to emulate my behavior. Started hanging with the wrong crowd, carrying guns, having opps, and that shit weighed on my soul like you couldn’t even imagine. Eventually I had to give up on my revenge because it wasn’t worth furthing the cycle. Wish more people would come to the realization that it’s just not worth it, we leave our community, our family, our culture, ourselves, everything in pain when we choose this life

19:35 “When you in purpose, you could slip all day” man I felt that. God has a purpose for his children. If you are his child. God has protected me from gun shots of a AK47 that penetrated my whole car expect for me. I went thru depression trying to figure out why GOD? Like why me? Why would you allow this to happen to me? I went to church a few weeks after the incident being depressed and God literally spoke and said he sent an angel to protect me and block the bullets from coming anywhere near me and that’s exactly what he did. He also told me it wasn’t my time to go. It was just the wrong place wrong time. Be careful being anywhere some places are not for us. So like CW said, If it’s your time, it will happen. Always pray for protection before you leave the house and even every time you get in the car. You never know what spirits are trying to kill you.
