Charles, what we have to understand regarding Kvaratskhellia is that PSG have done so much leg work in that deal over the last year, similar to what we did with Rice. So it’s hard to gazump in that sense as City found out. City could have upped their bid it would not have mattered in the slightest. Hi Charles, like you I’ll be disappointed if an opportunity like Kvara passes us by given how good of a fit it looks. One thing that concerns me though (other than PSG look to have the inside track) is… will Edu leaving put us at a disadvantage? But I don’t know enough about how these deals work so asking. I know it’s a decent deal by modern standards, but it’s still a lot of money. I’m sure the Kroenkes would have to sign off on a transfer at this level? Putting myself in their shoes, how would I know that this isn’t going to be another Pepe disaster? Has he previously been on our list - and who on the staff do I have confidence in on such a big call? Do I want a deal of this scale before I have Edu’s replacement in place? I don’t know, but my instinct from all the downplaying of expectations is that it’s going to be hard to get anything big through management.

You need to relax on Kvara, Arsenal aren't going to go for him because he wouldnt suit Arsenal. They know a bit more about scouting profiles than the average man on the street. They want to avoid another Trossard situation where they are stuck with an unsuitable profile for a couple years because of a rushed January signing . Barcola is the player they will be interested in. He excels in speed, 1v1 and retains the ball.

Hey Charles. I have a short question about the recruitment system. I read on twitter a lot of users really angry with Arteta, that he doesn`t want an attacker or didn`t want an attacker in the last few transfer windows. I know for a fact that we scouted strikers for long. We always wanted another striker next to Jesus, as Arsenal never thought that Nketiah is gonna make it. I talked with a former scout and he told me that. He told me that Arteta just gives the position and what type of player he wants in this position. Like for example when they scouted Isak and thought he was to expensive, the analyse team looked at same player-types. But it looks like none of them worked out. So now to the question itself. What do you view as the perfect system? A sporting director who says what we should do (obviously a lot of talks with the manager) or a manager who says who he wants and the sporting director just has to do what he has been told to and get deals done.

Trossards form, attitude and now contract rejection means we need to sell asap. We can approach napoli with with + kiwior as part exchanges. Napoli will need a winger and trossard could be a great fit alongside lukaku. They don't want skriniar due to high wages, therefore kiwior could be a great option based on his age and low salary. We should be able to raise £45-50mil for those two players, meaning we then only need to stump up around £20 for Kvara, which could be raised from the sale of Zinny. Simple but great business IMO. Tbh I would t trust Arteta to buy well anyway and he would stifle most top attackers with his rigid style who would risk their career with inexperienced Arteta 🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

I love Rice but in the Newcastle game with 20 odd mins left, seeing Rice play the ball back to Saliba really upset me, we needed our best midfielder looking forward to create a goal not knocking it back to a cb 🤷‍♂️

Mikel has no idea on how to replace Xhaka. Seriously, how much money have we put into that left 8 position? Vieira £35, Havertz £65M, Merino £35M… Rice is currently deployed there and he cost £100M.. Arteta seems confused about what he wants from that position.

totally Agree here, he is trying so hard to fix that position but everytime he fails more and more, 100M wasted there and also not to mention the wages of this players instead all we had to do was if the team was allready perfect give Xhaka a longer contract and keep it as it was and add more depth to that thats all, but instead we left Xhaka leave now we have 2 issues 1 is that positon 8 and the other is Martinelli dawgraded after Xhaka left so much so that we are even looking to replay him now....
