I lived on the Charleville Estate for a year in the early 1970's, and remember Major Hutton-Bury well. A lovely guy, but had no idea how to run an estate so large. I also remember the gamekeeper, Jim. Tom Masterson was the estate manager, but his task was a hopeless one. Shame to see it gone to wreck and ruin.
