Charley is the artist we need, but not one we deserve. *His swagger is unmatched!* This one has a serious Frankie Laine sound to it...never thought I'd be making that comparison with a modern 2020 country artist! The steel guitar in this one gives me chills... Also, anyone thinking this is missing a good "whip" sound after every "run horse, run horse run" and "yaaa!" he says?
@carson806664 жыл бұрын
I made this comparison the other day and just got blank stares from my clueless friends! "Come on. Anyone? Wayward Wind? Anyone?"

It's good that it didn't have whip sound effects because I feel it'd be too cheesy. But then he makes his own whip noises at the end of the song so idk.
@ComedyBros54 жыл бұрын
@@TheSignatureK Eh, I disagree. I actually took the track and added in a "whip" sound effect in the places I had imagined it, and for me, it made the song even more epic than it already is!

Been listening to Charley for about 3, going on 4 years. My appreciation for this man's music is deep and secular. In today's vast sea of country music, there's several scenes with different artists falling into them...and then there's Charley. Where Old Crow produces that uncanny old timey sound of the Appalachia, Charley is this living time machine to the sounds of the old west. Thank you for aiding me in life's journey, Mr. Crockett.✌💛
