Does any human being you've ever known possess anywhere near the kind of infectious laugh that Charley Steiner has? Not a chance! Any knowledgable fan of the classic Sportscenters from the 90's would put Steiner in their top 3 anchors ever! His steadfast professionalism mixed with his sporadic fits of uncontrollable laughter? He's a fuckin national treasure! Many posters in this thread have already said the same thing. When I'm depressed and I'm feeling down. This is one of my go to videos. Bob Ley cracking up is the funniest part of that incredible moment.
@pronkb0006 ай бұрын
What makes it notable is that Ley and Steiner were both longtime ESPNers who normally did the show VERY straight-laced. Steiner had a wry sense of humor but Ley was pretty much a straight newsman. No catchphrases or pop-culture references. So it was hilarious, but part of what made it hilarious is that it was generally out of character for the both of them.
