Just crossed my mind. If Donna’s check payments were for extortion, why were they pretending Katie was working? Then they said it was for her to be able to get insurance for her kids. Were there any taxes paid? Can’t remember what was said.
@ajordan19767 ай бұрын
Was Katie getting health insurance by being an employee of the Adelson institute? If not it makes no sense. She could easily get Medicaid through the state for them. She's never been clear.

Is it possible that Wendi lied about her sore throat to avoid a phone conversation with Dan? I remember hearing at trial that he had text saying they can meet up and go for a walk after the gym. The psycho was NOT expecting first responders so soon. Somehow I believe her evil plan was to arrive at his home and find a deceased Dan, ransack the house some more (for valuables) and then call police as a distraught ex wife (the hero of the story). That is why she was at the scene. Perfect alibi. Dan had wanted to talk so she “drives to him” and finds him gone. The whole bourbon thing was a lie and a lucky break.

I was delighted to see that you had posted something when I got up this morning 😊 Always enjoy your analysis and perspective on this whole bizarre case. I agree with you completely that Wendi's going over to Trescott that day was not planned or expected of her. Charlie was totally frustrated to find that out and at least had sense enough to realize that that action tied not only her but the rest of the family to the hit. I believe she was told to stay put at home for her own protection and that she'd be notified. When she wasn't getting notified, she just took matters into her own hands to go check it out. She was the only Adelson in Tallahassee after all. The rest of the bunch convinced themselves that because they were miles away from Tallahassee, they had sufficient alibis. And my opinion that the Best Buy guy will testify at Wendi's trial and be able to give evidence about her stall tactics, flirtations or other methods used to make him stay a bit longer.

Imo she knew with Charlie that would be a step too far - he would abandon her just as Robert did. She not only didn't want to lose a second son, she needed Charlie to act as her proxy when interfering in Wendi's life. That's my opinion. What I really don't understand though is why Wendi marrying an NJB was important to Donna. She wasn't Orthodox, she doesn't respect Kosher values. Whoever Wendi would have married, whether Jewish or not, Wendi's children would be considered Jewish.

Carl is absolutely wonderful. Informative and humble. He once answered 4 of my questions on one show! He asks for no donations or anything. If he does get gifts he donated it to another case that is close to his heart. He's fascinating to listen to and always is positive about all Adelson's held accountable for the tragedy. #JusticeForDanMarkel
