Every fandom has one character who is so innocent, and so pure and good just to be good that the fallout of their death can never be put into words. I call it the Dobby Effect, and Charlie is this fandom's Dobby. She didn't deserve it, but she went through with it for them.

Charlie was my favorite. Maybe even above Dean, Sam, or Cas. I related to her so much, and she's gone. Her death was dumb, and whoever idea it was to kill her off, should be ashamed. Maybe if they killed her off in a more heroic way, or later in the series. Dean loved her, Sam loved her, and she loved them back. I know this is just a show, but man. She did not deserve to die in a motel bathroom, by a one handed man. Charlie is stronger that that. Carry on Charlie, and may you never be forgotten.

the writer who created her, Robbie Thompson was just as angry when they killed her off. its just another one the reasons why I hate Buckleming's writing. if it were up to me i'd bring robbie back to the show and have him write all the episodes.

Supernatural and KZbin I think that's the point of her death. She was so perfect. She was pure and happy and loved, but she made one fatal mistake: she became a hunter. No one leaves the life alive, and for her to die in a motel bathroom shows how unforgiving the life of a hunter is.

The idea was Robert Singer - the producer, not the character. Jim Michaels, Thompson and Berens disagreed with it. Singer insisted due to his incessant need to leave only Sam and Dean when he runs the show. It is the source of many of my rants.

WibblyWobblyEtc It's a video game. **spoilers for LiS** The main character Maxine "Max" (who finds out she can rewind time) reunites with her old best friend Chloe who for some reason dares Max to kiss her and then basically all the players ship them and then at the end of the game you have to choose whether to sacrifice Chloe and save Arcadia Bay (the place where they live) OR let a massive tornado take the town and everyone in it and run away with Chloe. If you choose to kill Chloe, they kiss (for realsies this time) and basically confess their love for one another before she dies.

even 2 years later Charlie's death still hurts. If one character in this series genuinely deserved a happy ending it was her. Felicia Day really helped define the character and make her real for a lot of people, including me. So please, somebody at SPN please, find some way to bring her back as a cameo, or a flashback or something, because her character really helped to humanize Sam and Dean, and give them a much needed connection to the world outside of hunting, and at least one fan wants that back.

Dean had to be pushed over the edge in order for the Mark of Cain to take full control and this was definitely the push. And by George I could watch him kill the Stynes 20x in a row.
