It's unfortunate that the tiresome, formulaic nonsense that makes TV news so unbearably tedious to watch was given so much airtime in this Screenwipe. Showing and telling me how ghastly something is doesn't make it any more pleasurable to watch. The clips were given too much prominence - I'd have preferred more critical analysis. In 4 years this video's had almost 11,000 Views, but has attracted only 96 Likes [date: 24th November 2024]. Hmmm... Does that count as news?

I was born in the year when Powell made "that speech" and for you to say that he was "not a racist" when he makes a statement such as "the black man will have the whip hand over the white man" is one which smacks of superiority being determined by the colour of a person's skin when in fact, there IS NO superior being over the other. We are all human and we all matter. Enoch would probably have never administered CPR to a dying person on the basis that he was black. And EP was a member of The Monday Club, which speaks volumes.
