Only making 6 episodes per season is criminal. This is without a doubt one of the best review programms ever made by television.

I was surprised how good this was; in fact it was great! It must be hard to come up with a weekly series that will maintain the high standards of a yearly overview, but they've pretty much done it, so respect! (I live abroad, so I've never seen this before.)

There's a line in an episode of Yes, Minister where someone says that the National Theatre looks like a carpet warehouse and the civil servant looks outraged and says "We gave the architect a knighthood so that nobody would ever say that."

I am not sure. I think it's his choice. At about 00:35, Diane/Philomena (or Colin...Salmon...was he flattered?) astonishingly gets away with (at least I didn't notice it when broadcast on the BBC) bluntly describing the level of exhaustion after a Sunday in DIY stores or similar. (But ClosedCaption censors it. Quite amusing in itself. because "big Boots" becomes large footwear.)
