The reason it sounds like he has so much reverb is because he’s mixed the mics that are up close to the drums and uses a mic that’s a fair distance away from the drums to grab the acoustics of the room and that’s how he gets such a big sound

AMAZING SOUND. I got excited the moment I heard that crystal clear - but more importantly natural sound - drum stick hit in the beginning. I saw the Sand Hats and subbed instantly. however, would prefer an even more natural sound drum sound. great alternative to all the overproduced drum vids - soundwise.
