But definitely sounds like the instrumentals I posted; For a song called Enchanted, one year prior to his musical release. "I couldn't come out with a song like this, as a brand new artist." Nonetheless, it's just crazy how being an artist and having a platform will get people to believe in you. If you place his song over mine, the instrumentals hit every stroke of the beat. Sounds like you missed the point of the song. Look at Charlie's perspective here: this issa girl who he had a previous relationship with, and she keeps asking him to sleep over. It's pretty common for people who are broken up to hook up afterwards or possibly get back together because they're not ready to move on. Charlie was getting signs that she felt that way, obviously he did as well, and on top of the perfume and conversation and whatnot, she wants him to sleep over. Then, nothing happens. He literally says "that's fine, but after the 5th time of that happening,.." So clearly it's not a big deal to him if he sleeps over and nothing happens, the problem comes after that happens over and over again. It feels like-in Charlies mind-that she doesn't actually want anything to do with im romantically anymore, she just wants company so as to not feel lonely. We don't know what the girl's true intentions actually are, but we all know what it feels like to be used-it's not a good feeling. So if he's feeling used, he's allowed to be upset. Sounds like you missed the point of the song. Look at Charlie's perspective here: this issa girl who he had a previous relationship with, and she keeps asking him to sleep over. It's pretty common for people who are broken up to hook up afterwards or possibly get back together because they're not ready to move on. Charlie was getting signs that she felt that way, obviously he did as well, and on top of the perfume and conversation and whatnot, she wants him to sleep over. Then, nothing happens. He literally says "that's fine, but after the 5th time of that happening,.." So clearly it's not a big deal to him if he sleeps over and nothing happens, the problem comes after that happens over and over again. It feels like-in Charlies mind-that she doesn't actually want anything to do with im romantically anymore, she just wants company so as to not feel lonely. We don't know what the girl's true intentions actually are, but we all know what it feels like to be used-it's not a good feeling. So if he's feeling used, he's allowed to be upset. Music is about expressing your feelings, and that's exactly what Charlie is doing.
