The Commander is Charles Middleton, who was Ming the Merciless, Emperor of the Universe, in the Flash Gordon serials. Ming was one of the greatest villains in film history. Middleton was also one of the prosecutors of Chico Marx (Baravelli), in the Marx Brothers' Duck Soup.

I used this against my wife, once - and only once... she was fussing at me about something and wouldn’t quit, so I told her that is there is such a thing as reincarnation, she would come back as a horse, because she was already a nag! (She was not amused)
