About to finish this series. Loved it, and would definitely watch another playthrough of it soon I'll be off to the next playlist, thanks for the years of entertainment 😊 Also, I am literally considering getting this game for learning purposes of maps. If the game truly is accurate, then this is great for people who work in places where knowing the layout of their city is important such as firefighters and first responders. I'm looking into it super interested if it will accurately map my town lol

And as far as making the game have more replay value, maybe have another mode where once you make all your bus routes and everything, you play the game from the perspective of you have mass amounts of people you need to move, and you use your previous playthroughs as company where you need contract transportation companies to get that done. You could play as a school district, or a mass workplace, or something along those lines. It would be interesting since your previous playthroughs would be added to the list of generated companies that you could use to complete your tasks and goals. Just a thought and I do agree with in the sense that you are sorta passively playing the game in the end game. Hopefully the devs will make this game more refined as time goes on and if you pick it back up I would most definitely watch it😊

I would like to see events happening at like the convenience centers or like the sports arenas to where like you have to pay attention to when they play so you have more buses on those route for the games. Making it more challenging or busy. Or like concerts or like extra people on Certain Days. Due to weather or events and stuff like that

Hi Charlie i myself i am a bus and Tram driver in my city. Ok so what can they add/change? 1/ Road closures or detours ( announced and unannounced) 2/ dispatchers to follow up problems on the road and busses 3/ Mobile technicians to solve problems with busses on the road ( could be minor or big ones - towing service - ) 4/ Security, maybe some agression towards bus drivers in certain areas!? 5/ Security/ticket control to see if people pay tickets and don't ride for free.

Hi @Charlie and friends 👋 I agree on many of your remarks : - The auto-scheduler is way under the Par ! 1st assign high load routes to big busses, then assign intermediate load routes to medium busses, then low load routes to tiny busses, logical Mr Spock ! Not what it is doing... - The scheduler should include the employees' schedule, to avoid stress - In a real transportation business, at least where i live, drivers are the ones cleaning the bus. They also don't wait for an order to refuel. And the maintenance team doesn't wait for flat tires and engine breaks to do their job... Let's say it is for gameplay, i don't see the point of a game stressing you like a real job, and forcing you to micro-manage your business like Queen Karen... - The roads are too large and the parking spots too thin, the map's granularity needs a reviewed. - Your employees never leave work, even after hour, even the front desk closing early is open 24/7. This is a liability, as it infringes on labour laws, lol ^^ About this run, you did well, but 1 thing or 2 you didn't know or see (i hope are parameters in the game engine) : A bus line doesn't need to stop to every single stop on the way, it slows it down, a few line serving 1 stop out of 2 or 3, but going from way north to way south (or west to east, or looping to connect the previous lines) is a way better (real) scheme : if i have to walk 3 mins more to get a direct line, i won't care much, if my town is cut in quarters and i have to take 3 busses travelling in arc to get to the same destination, i take my car ! Just make all lines can connect to all lines, and do longer lines with less stops, in the real world it is what's costing the less (yes, public transportation loses money ! By design : if public transportations make the user pay the real cost, the user searches for another job without transportation, and industry finds itself without workforce, the IRS can't tax nul profits, and USA is back to the middle age !!) Sorry for the long post, and thanks for the great videos 👍❤🖖

Regarding adding extra bus trips at specific times. You can do this. The advanced scheduler is very powerful. Simply make a new timetable, name it, and adjust start and finish times to what you want, them the frequency. You can have as many timetables as you want. The game will then combine them all in the timetable. I use this to make evening schedules, Sunday only schedules for example. And you can make single trips too.

Maybe in late game, you could build another separate depot once you stabilize the 1st one that way you can keep building out further

I like this idea, but not even just secondary depots. Other types of structures too like build a park and ride, or building a transfer center. I think that'd be a cool way to double down on the building aspect of the game.

If they want to add a little bit more realism add the option to make mini station or a substation where you can have people wait or have a small fleet of buses located at if you was making stops far away from your main station
