What people don't know is that Harriet Tubman, was less than 5 feet tall, and had seizures, couldn't read or write, traveled over 100 miles north on her own, in the 1860s, which would have been impossible, and made it to Philadelphia. But, it doesn't stop there. She went back several times to rescue others, had she been caught she would have been tortured and executed. On her own she brought over 70 slaves to freedom and did not lose one person along the way. After they passed the fugitive slave act, in which law enforcement in every state was required to capture runaway slaves and return them to their "owner", she started taking people over 600 miles to Canada, in winter. And still never lost one. She was called the "Moses of her people". She was the first woman in american history to lead an armed battalion. She was the commanding officer on a union mission to south carolina that freed over 750 slaves. Harriet Tubman died in 1913 at the approximate age of 91. Her final words were " I go to prepare a place for you"

The Appreciation and Ancestor Veneration in her voice through out this song was so real. To think what they all went through for us to be here today is overwhelming and a debt that I repay by thanking them and honoring daily

Omg this song does something to my spirit every time I hear it because it still feels like I have to be just as strong as they were because of all the hate. I can feel it in my bones too. This goes beyond a movie.

Hey sissy 👋🏾👋🏾 I just wanted to share the good news with you! It’s kind of long but it will bless your life. So basically Blacks, Hispanics and Native Americans are the true chosen people of The Most High. That is why our history is not taught in school, other than slavery, they want to hide this from us. Our forefathers are Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The reason we went into slavery for 400 years was because we broke Gods laws, statutes and commandments. How we can identify ourselves in the Bible is through the curses in Deuteronomy 28:15-68 but look at this. Deuteronomy 28:68 KJV And the LORD shall bring thee 👉🏾into Egypt👈🏾again with ships, 👈🏾by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there 👉🏾ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, 👈🏾and no man shall buy you. Deuteronomy 7:6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth Egypt is synonymous to America in this scripture, if you look on the back of the dollar bill you will see an Egyptian pyramid. In America specifically Washington D.C. is full of monuments that mimic Egypt. And it states that we would be brought over here to America by ships which was the Atlantic Slave Trade and we were sold as slaves to our enemies, that no one would save us from the land which is the land of our captivity which we are still in today, America. Martin Luther King couldn’t save us, Malcom X, Marcus Garvey were all killed when attempting to liberate us from here. They’re out here crucifying Kanye and Kyrie for speaking the truth, but if we say kill niggas this and that it’s blasted on radios. We are the real Jews or Israelites. That’s our true identity. We are not black, that’s a color out of a crayon box. We are neither African. Every nation has a language, a land, culture, including us, we are Hebrews who originally spoke in the Hebrew tongue. We have to come back to the laws, statutes and commandments as well as believe on his son. Our history didn’t start in 1619. Again just wanted to share the good news!

She’s just amazing. There are a few performances of hers I have in fairly heavy rotation. The cover of Purple Rain she, JHud and the cast of The Color Purple did as a tribute to Prince: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWeuhoeCZbWLopI Her performance of You Will Be Found from Dear Evan Hansen at Elsie Fest. Cute story at the beginning. And then there’s this delightful little moment in a piano bar, where she sings I Can Do Better Than That from The Last Five Years. I cannnnnnnooot. How much do you wish you’d been one of the people who dropped in for a drink that night?

That's I seen the movie the story is so captivating Cynthia Evo did her thing with Harriet tubman. I cannot imagine what our people went through at that time but pain sorrow and misery, somebody had to step up and help our people. I miss Tubman did that, and her life was on the line as well as the other lives that she helped with freedom. Slavery should have never been whether it was with the with the Jews or African-Americans and any other culture that was a slave. It's the evil that mankind have put upon other people to satisfy their so-called strength that they think they have. And African-Americans have suffered for over 400 years and still suffering in the hands of the society still today. It's been time for African-American to take what is theirs and make the white people give what it's not theirs back to them.
