The Conductor even looked like he had a great night, that smile at the end on his face would have been stuck there a fews days after, by the looks of it.

My family owned a pub in the eighties and he came in for a drink with a few of his mates. They stayed until closing and he turned the pub into a rock concert. I think he talked personally to everyone and all the patrons had an absolute blast, he’s a legend and we all love him.

John is loved in a way that no other Aussie has ever been, or probably ever will be again. He epitomises everything good about the Aussie psyche, and is genuinely surprised that he is so loved. He in turn loves and is grateful for his fans, the band and all the musos and production crews that have been there with him for over 50 years. You seem to understand the deep affection we have for him, and thank you for that.

I can't even begin to tell you what it was like being at this concert - I've said it before, coz I don't know how else to describe it, other than electrifying and chilling. I can't watch any of this concert without the goosebumps hitting me all over. It was a night that I'll never forget....John is my youth, my whole teenage years. He had such an effect on many things in my life, such as being the glue between my Nan (RIP) and myself. I've had / got 5 generations who not only know John, we love him to bits.. Even my 5yr old granddaughter knows the words to his music, which is not uncommon here in Australia. LOVE this man for everything that he is, has done for this whole country. They don't come any better than Farnsey, they just don't ❤❤❤❤

When we told the venue management about it, they arranged replacement tickets for him and his girlfriend for the second last show, even though they were fully booked at the time. They didn't have to do that, and he was so appreciative.

I'm loving all these reactions to John Farnham's epic vocals. So nostalgic for me as I grew up in Australia listening to him back in the 80's. You may have already found the video of him on an Australian show called Hey Hey it's Saturday singing My Yiddeshe Momme with Tom Jones. It was improvised and short but the clip shows his personality and how pure his voice is too. He is such a beautiful guy.
