Mr Charlie, this reminds me of my mother in law, I was her prep cook and she would mix it and bake it, she's gone now and her two daughters were career women and don't cook, so its on me but I still throw down in the kitchen, I clean the kitchen first, then I wash up like a doctor, then I do what it do! God bless you my young brother, I'm a look you up when I come to New Orleans 🌹⚜️🐊

omg, I made the cornbread two days ago to go with my hubbys cabbage, and it was wonderful but because its only me and him, we could only eat 1/3 of it before we were ready for something different, so today I took the remaining 2/3 and now I'm making dressing and Cornish hen. Your awesome, you need to be on Foodnetwork making nothing but soulfood, Foodnetwork need a little color to the team. Sunny cant do it all.

+Ms88keys1 Wow! Good I'm happy to hear that the cornbread was a success! Then you cooked cabbage with it too! I know yall were eating good! :) Ohhh okay! You didn't eat it all so you took the other half and made some cornbread dressing with it! Good Idea! :) Yes i do need to be on the food network or something but for now I'm here! :) Thanks so much for commenting i really appreciate it! :)

Charlie: In addition to your great recipes, I truly appreciate your respectful manners. It’s “Ladies and Gentlemen” from you and not “you guys” which is the modern lingo which I find totally disrespectful when addressing people of the older generation. Also, Charlie, you have to be one of the cleanest and neatest chefs on KZbin. I love that! Just wanted you to know we watch every little detail. I’m certain others do, too.

I'm so happy I found this wonderful human being. Charlie seems to be very humble. I recently moved from my hometown, New Orleans and came to Shreveport. biggest mistake ever. I can't find the Chef K seasonings any where or the Patton's hot sausage. I miss New Orleans!!!!

+Ebony Buckner Thank you very much! Yikes. Yes biggest mistake ever. lol I find that a lot of people who are from New Orleans that stay out of town get homesick at times. Wow! You can't find none of chef Paul's seasonings up there or the hot sausage. I believe there's a website you can go on to purchase these particular ingredients BUT it can be expensive!

+Charlie “The Cook” Andrews I have been searching high and low. I'm pretty sure that online will be sky high as you stated. Shreveport is stuck in the 80's. Did you post a cornbread recipe yet? I'm doing your cornbread dressing recipe for Thanksgiving. I looked for it on your website, but to no avail.

+Ebony Buckner Insult lol Nahhh. I used jiffy to make my cornbread stuffing back then. it was really good lol If you want you can use the jiffy if you want. Two to 3 boxes will do! lol. :) I'm going to try to see if I can release a recipe but by me being busy with this Thanksgiving stuff it's going to be difficult!

I love fresh sage in dressing! We had two sage "bushes" when I was growing up and it went into cornbread dressing at Thanksgiving. Bunches of it used to hand from the attic rafters for drying and was used to season home made sausage. Sage causes some people to hallucinate mildly.

+pheadrasfall Yes it s hard to believe! Ohh okay! Yes those smoked turkey parts etc are good to add to the stuffing! It'll give it a very nice flavor! Yes adding the chicken necks is like ah one two punch! Very good! :) Yes don't eat the chicken necks after they are cooked. You'll eat them all before adding to your stuffing!
