So great to see your review of this show which has been popping up all over my Instagram feed - seems like this was certainly one of the *must see* show of the season. I partially can see the Philip Taaffe influence, but the strongest comparison I could see was to part of Sigmar Pölke's work. Her linear works and louder color palettes remind me a bit of George Condo. The intentional combining of jarring elements also evokes a bit of Albert Oehlen. Nice, diverse show, and the big salon-style wall at 13:45 really got me palpitating. Thanks James, thanks Kate!

Tons of experimentation into different styles and techniques tends to appear diversely derivative. But she does have voice all of her own in some pieces. 👍😊
