Charlotta has a rising attack with guard point on her triangle button. Guard point means a character is blocking during a portion of an attack. This move can be canceled into during combos, but there's some points to note here:
1. The guard point functions like normal blocking and you can be guard broken if it's used too frequently or carelessly. This is fine.
2. You also end the combo string with this attack and will be screwed out of DPS because the swanging attack loop is where you wanna be with this character. This is not fine, and let me explain why.
With how effective her swanging loop is, it feels as if you are being encouraged to whiff swings and reposition with dodges if a monster moves away or is in a jump attack. Just to stay in the swanging loop.
Whiffing the loop looks ugly and untidy in my opinion. But it's better than dropping the loop and starting back at the initial hops combo, if your 2 skills that put you into the loop afterwards are on cooldown.
Which is what your options will be, if you try to power through an incoming attack with the guard point move.
I do not like this.
Feels like Charlotta got given an interesting tool, but system mechanics discourage her from using it if you want to play her effectively. Send help.

Ah so thats why every Charlotta vid I've seen just seems to have her only in "swanging" mode the entire fight. It's been nice to have some insight on the actual feel of playing the characters since I don't have a PS5 to play demo and will need to wait for Steam release to really get a hands on feel for each character. I am interested in hearing your personal opinion between Charlotta, Zeta and Narmaya so far who would you say has felt the most rewarding to play so far?

io imo, but soloing with her feels cumbersome right now. out of the 3 i made videos for, I like Zeta the most.

Cannot wait to see what you cook up for Vaseraga. Sure, try for No Damage, but maybe just see how fast he can do if you just try Solo as fast as possible! I think maybe you could get it under 5 minutes maybe if his damage is high enough when tanking hits!

Wish there was a accessibility feature for these infinite spam chars(her, lancelot and IIRC there's another one that is not in the demo) that would just let hold square. They don't have any hold square moves anyway.
